Yeroskipou
Village, home to the famous Cyprus Delight. See the traditional way of making this
famous sweet in the original factory, built in 1895, sample the different
flovours and also the special Yeroskipou sugared almonds.
Mesogi village, watch the ladies at work making the traditional bamboo
woven baskets.
Tsadha village, have a look at the golf course and visit the small unspoilt
monastery of Stavros tis Minthas and meet father Barnabas. Visit the Tsadha
coffee shop for a coffee, a local fire water (zivania) or some village
wine.
Polemi Village, visit the house of Prodromos and Nikki, and see the traditional
way of life in the Paphos villages. Nikki is one of the few ladies
still doing “Phynitiotika” -special weaving on a very old
loom.
Downhill towards paphos we stop at Empa village to visit a historic church, built
in the 12th Century before descending in Paphos.
