For those of you looking for a relaxing holiday, consider our relaxing half day cruise which sails up along the west coast from Paphos, or maybe the romantic sunset cruise is more your taste, watching the sun go down behind the Paphos coastline while enjoying a chilled glass of sparkling wine. For golf lovers, enjoy a relaxing game at either of the two championship courses of Tsada and Secret Valley Golf Clubs.
For the more adventurous, the Akamas Safari is a great way to see this wild and rugged natural landscape, visiting the Avakas Gorge, a fascinating water-running canyon before setting of towards Lara Bay, the place where the Green Turtles and Loggerhead Turtles lay their eggs. Sample a Cyprus Meze Lunch with Local Wine before heading 'off-road' stopping off at the Baths of Aphrodite and the Wine Village of Kathikas for wine tasting (winter only).
Another good way to see the countryside is to take a Cycling tour through the Troodos Mountains and enjoy the fresh, clean mountain air. Starting at the foothill of the highest mountain (1600m) close to the monastery of Trooditissa, which lies in the middle of a pine forest above a deep gorge, you depart downhill towards the traditional village of Kilani and Vouni where time stands still.
Excursions to other nearby countries are also available from Cyprus. If you have the time to spare, take a 2 day cruise to Egypt, or if you prefer you can take a one day trip by air where you can visit the most mystical ancient wonder of the world, the pyramids at Chiza Plateau. Gaze at the huge stone structure of the enigmatic Sphinx, a woman’s head and a lions body. Visit the Egyptian museum and marvel at the biggest collection of Pharaonic exhibits in the world at the magnificent Treasures of Tutankhamon.
