Slightly further along the coast out of Polis Cyprus, and you will arrive at the Baths of Aphrodite, where the surrounding area is spectacular, and the views of Chrysochou Bay are amazing. If you enjoy walking, follow one of the Akamas nature trails before heading back to Polis.

If you are staying in Polis or Latchi it is worth taking a trip up into the Akamas Peninsula to explore this wild and rugged landscape. In order to make this trip safely you must hire a 4x4 vehicle as some of the roads here are not suitable for standard cars. The Akamas is bursting with fantastic things to see but one 'must' is the famous Lara Bay, also known as Turtle Bay, the gorgeous deserted beach where the endangered green turtles lay their eggs and nest their young, year after year.
