The resort of Protaras however, does have more to it than simply sand.

Our hotels in Protaras Cyprus are ideally positioned for visiting some of the local places of interest including ‘Ayios Elias’, a pretty Greek church set high on top of a hill. To reach the church you must climb about 100 but the superb views from the top are well worth the effort.

Another beautiful place to visit, is the 16th Century Monastery which stands right in the middle of Ayia Napa Square. It's amazingly peaceful here, and a total contrast to the rest of the vibrant resort - not to be missed!

If you have children with you in hotels in Protaras Cyprus, a trip to The Ocean Aquarium in the town is a brilliant treat for the whole family, as is the Maritime Heritage Centre, also in Protaras.
