Play golf in Cyprus at Tsada Golf Club Tsada Golf Course

Located only 20 minutes from Paphos at a position of 550 metres above sea level ensuring a nice cool breeze in the summer months.

An 18 hole golf course, it plays to a par 72 and measures 6060 metres. The 14th is a par 3 and the most challenging short hole, played from an elevated tee across a ravine to a green cleverly set on the side of the hill.

The 17th is a par 5 and is 533 metres, it has a winding fairway crossing three unforgiving streams. Club side facilities include restaurant, bar, changing rooms, saunas, outdoor swimming pool and tennis.

Play golf in Cyprus at Secret Valley Golf Club Secret Valley Golf Club

Located 18 kilometres outside Paphos and 49 kilometres from Limassol near the site of “Petra tou Romiou”, the said birthplace of Aphrodite.

The front nine offers four nice holes for warming up, two birdie opportunities and an easy dog leg.
The first and third holes par 4’s, 375 and 335 metres respectively, feature sand traps halfway between tee and the green. Number 4 at 120 metres has a birdie written all over it.

The back nine plays longer than the first nine and the challenge starts immediately, a long par 5 475 metres with sand traps make the tenth hole demanding.

Hole 13, a short 145 metres with water in the back – overshoot the green and you will be out of bounds.

The eighteen hole par 5 515 meters finishes at the club house with what appears to be a selection of artificial lakes on the back side of the green.

Places of Interest - golf in Cyprus
Close to both golf courses you will find the following sights, based on the famous legend of Aphrodite, and are well worth a visit:
Aphrodite’s rock and Petra tou Romiou
site are a must to see. Aphrodite according to the legend emerged from the waves of the sea, her rock is the small one situated next to the Digenis- Petra tou Romiou. Romios in ancient will mean Greek or better Grekos, according to another legend Digenis has thrown this huge rock at the invaders.
Aphrodite’s Temple (Sanctuary)

The Sanctuary forms Aphrodite’s most famous site of shrines and antiquities. Other sites to visit within Palea Paphos are the Manor House (Museum), The Roman Remains and the Christian Remains. Also close by are some small traditional villages:
Pissouri has managed to retain its charm yet still welcome tourism. The village itself is famous for grape growing, and the village has a variety of restaurants, tavernas and bars, where you can sample the local wine.
Tala, a picturesque village on the outskirts of Paphos, located between Kissonerga and Tsada and famous for its cool breezes and spectacular views of the Mediterranean.
Pegeia Village is nestled in the foothills of Paphos. This traditional village is 15km from Paphos and close to the Akamas Peninsula, therefore enjoying wonderful views and great landscapes.
Stroumpi is a village with a population of about 480, about 17kms from Paphos. Stroumpi is a big winemaking village & most locals are employed somewhere in the wine making industry. Stroumpi is divided into two parts, Pano and Kato. Pano Stroumpi is a very old settlement, even going as far back as medieval times; here you see ruins of 2 wineries and lots of traditional houses.
Kathikas is situated between Paphos and Latchi, this pretty village is built of stone and located amongst the low hills of the Laona plateau. Apparently when the village was built, the stone houses were constructed on both sides of the river, with the Greek Cypriots living on one side and the Turkish Cypriots living on the other.
