Single Trip
Covers you for the period of time that your holiday will last. It is an "each-time" travel policy up to 365 days of the year duration commencing in and returning to the UK.
Annual Multi-Trip
Covers you for a whole year, therefore it is recommended for people who travel abroad more than once per year, this Travel Insurance condition is for a maximum duration per trip of 45 days, where ever winter sport is covered, maximum duration is 17 days per year and the age limit is up to 65 on the day of departure.

Make sure that your passports have not expired and are therefore still valid, and take all your travel documents such as flight tickets, hotel vouchers and travel insurance documents together in a safe place in your cabin bag, not in the luggage compartment of the plane.
Do not take large amount of notes (cash), instead use traveller cheques and upon arrival at the hotel please make sure you rent a safety deposit box to store all your important documents and money.
Make sure you have also the phone number to call and cancel your credit cards if needed, in case of loss or theft.
Please do check that the water from the room tap is drinkable, and also check whether or not the beach is safe for swimming and also for any unpleasant characteristics such as: Has it got any undercurrent in some areas?, In general, always try to swim in the sea where the beach is nominated as "Blue Flag" (Europe) which indicates that the sea is safe and clean and be cautious over swimming when the flag is red.
In the unlikely event of loss/theft of any of your belongings, you must report it to the local police where you will be given original documents in order to process your claim.
Please make sure you keep a photocopy for yourself prior to sending the original documents to us.

The island is very diverse in scenery, therefore there are a lot of different things to see and do.
In Troodos Mountains you might take a skiing lesson in Winter and lie in the sun 2 hours later to work on your tan! Remember, if you will be taking a skiing lesson or doing any ski-related activities, please state that your holiday will include this so you wll be covered.
The same applies also for Golf. Please remember to tell us if you will be playing while on holiday. |
