ROMANTIC SIGHTS IN CYPRUS
Even if you don’t plan to visit many of famous sights during your Cyprus honeymoon, you must try to make time to visit the ‘Petra tou Romiou’ site or Aphrodites Rock as it is more commonly known, where the famous Goddess of Love is said have emerged from the foam of the sea.
Another romantic place to visit is Aphrodites’ baths, where the Goddess is said to have met, seduced and bathed with her secret lover, Adonis. According to the legend, the water here holds the secret to eternal youth and taking a dip in the pool during your visit will make you look years younger!
If Paphos doesn’t appeal, then how about the sleepy fishing village of Latchi or neighbouring Polis for your Cyprus honeymoon? This mainly undeveloped area is very peaceful, laid back and offers some of the most spectacular scenery on the island, along with some lovely beach tavernas which specialise in fresh fish meze, the local Cypriot cuisine.
